Khloe Kardashian Looked Stunning on X Factor!!

Khloe Kardashian is my favorite and I am in love with how gorgeous she looked last night on the X Factor! Her look was simple yet fabulous in every way!!

She donned a gorgeous Caroline Herrera Night Collection Double Georgette Embellished Blouse with a pleated Alexander McQueen leather skirt!
She added a perfect pop of color with her Christian Louboutin Pigalle Pumps in neon orange!

And her makeup, done by celebrity Makeup Artist Joyce Bonelli, was flawless! Omg her face was beat to the godssss!!!! She looked natural yet her already beautiful features were enhanced! She had a soft smokey eye with the perfect nude lip to match! Yes Khloe!!! I am loving it all!

Her hair pulled back complimented her whole look because it was classy and fab just like her outfit and it really showed her beautiful face!

From head to toe, Khloe's look was flawless!  She gave me all kinds of life with her classy sexy style and makeup was clean and perfect! Nothing was overdone as far as her look went. She killed it with her beauty and style and really showed us how less is more!! 3 thumbs up for Khloe Kardashian!! She worked it!

Face of the Day! 2 in 1!

This is a 2 in 1 face of the day post!  Yesterday I recreated Tiny's (A Family Hustle) makeup that she had on her show 'Tiny Tonight'! Her makeup was done by Celebrity Makeup Artist Marcus Miller aka King Makeup! Her makeup was so beautiful and I thought I'd take a stab at recreating it! How'd I do?!

And here is the makeup I did today! This is a great look for New Years! Glittery eyes and instead of the classic matte red lip, I went with a deep burgundy lipstick called Sin by MAC, which was also worn by Rihanna at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Ever Dream of Naming Your Own Nailpolish? Well Now You Can!

Whenever I go shopping for nailpolish and read the names of the colors, I always think to myself, 'How did they come up with this name?' or 'How does this name relate to this color nailpolish'? I am sure it takes a lot of conversation and imagination to come up with these names, But it has to be nothing but laughs and jokes as the names are being thought of! Anyway, there is a site called Pretty Please Nailpolish  created by Sarah Ricklen, that allows you use your imagination and personalize a nailpolish color of your choice!

As you can see, there are 18 colors to choose from that are your to personalize.  Although the sky is the limit, well sort of,  when it comes to what you can name these polishes, there are a few rules.  The name has to be 24 characters or less, but they will work with you if you want something longer or want to add your logo on it. No profanity or dirtiness either lol! They will kindly ask you to think of another name.

The bottles are $10 each but $7 each if you order 6 or more at the same time. This is so much fun and can really be a great gift to give someone! Ricklen is also hoping to come out with lipgloss and lipstick with this same concept! Yay!

Face of the Day!

Today I decided to wear subtle eyeshadow and throw a glitter party on my lips!

Here are the products I used: For my eyes Twirl from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, and Show Stopper(dark brown) from MAC , which I believe is discontinued. The lipstick is Honey Love from MAC and on top I patted on MAC 3D Gold Glitter!

The Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder Craze!

Ben Nye is a staple in the makeup industry and has been around for more than 45 years.  The  products are high quality, long lasting yet affordable. The Banana Powder is an ultra fine makeup setting powder. It gives your makeup a matte finish leaving your face looking flawless! Lately it has blown up and everyone is finally getting hip to this amazing Banana Powder!

As you can see it comes in 2 sizes but 4 different shades, and you would use the powder depending on your client's skin tone. The Banana Powder seems to be the most popular amongst the 4.

If you go on YouTube, you can find tons of videos on how people use this powder.  Some use it as a highlight under their eyes, other use it simply to set the makeup once applied. I use it for both highlight and setting the makeup. I never leave home without my Banana Powder because it works so great!

The subtle color that the Banana Powder has works great on almost every skin tone for a highlight, especially warm skin tones.

I definitely understand the sudden craze for this Banana Luxury Powder.  It is way more affordable than most makeup setting powders ($8) and your client or yourself will be pleased with their flawless look after it has been applied. It is a great investment and necessary in your kit!

I purchase mine from Frends Beauty Supply in Los Angeles. But you can google it and will find it many places.  2 thumbs up for Ben Nye Banana Powder!!

Tarte Cosmetics "The Big Thrill" Gift Set Review w/ Swatches! !

I recently purchases Tarte Cosmetics "The Big Thrill" gift set from Ulta and I really like it! I told myself that I will only buy myself 1 thing this Christmas and I decided on this set.  Hopefully I keep that promise to myself! Anyway, this set was named right because everything is big! It comes with 16 full size eyeshadows, 4 full size blushes and 3 full size lipglosses all for $48.  That is a major steal! In my opinion, Tarte Cosmetics doesn't get the credit that it deserves! The price point is really good on their products, the eyeshadows are well pigmented and the lipglosses are sure to give you those plumped lips you long for! Check out my review on "The Big Thrill"!
Comes in a really pretty pink decorative box with gold tabs.
The gift set has 3 tiers. The first one houses the 16 full size eyeshadows. The second shelf houses the 4 full sizes blushes and the last houses the 3 full sized lip glosses and you get a full size mirror too!

Face of the Day!

Today's face, I used very romantic, soft and feminine colors. I used all MAC prodcuts. In the full crease I used Swiss S, in the middle of my lid I used Ricepaper, and unfortunately I forgot the color of the cranberry/burgundy color that's in my inner duct and corner crease.  But if you're trying to recreate this look, then any burgundy/cranberry color will work! The mascara I use is Maybelline The Falsies.  I don't wear false lashes and this mascara makes my already long lashes look even fuller. Hope you like!
